Your Claude quota is a budget. Spend it on purpose.

QuotaLens is a free, open-source local monitor for Claude Pro and Max subscription usage.

Claude Pro and Max reset every five hours and every week, and whatever is left at the reset is gone. QuotaLens runs on your machine, shows your burn rate, tells you whether this session will run out before the reset, and keeps the history Claude doesn't.
Free and open source (MIT), by one developer. One command to install; Python 3.11+, macOS, Linux, Windows.

Two real session windows, 2 and 6 September. The first two are money already spent.

1 · Burn rate

56%unused at the reset, at this rate

Spend more, or pace yourself. The forecast tells you which.

When the verdict says you will finish with room to spare, that is budget you can spend now. When it says you will run out before the reset, you know how much to slow down.

projected: 56% unused at reset now · 71% left 0h 1h 2h 3h 4h reset

2 · The week

7.7sessions left

Spend the week on purpose.

The weekly budget in the unit you work in: full five-hour sessions, at your own measured cost. When there is budget for 7.7 but time for only 6.4, the clock is the constraint, so stop rationing.

4 · Alerts

20pts/hr, the alert threshold

Know before you run out.

A webhook fires when the burn rate crosses your threshold, and another when it settles. Monitor a running agent without watching the dashboard.
