For anything about QuotaLens (a bug, a number that looks wrong, a feature request), a GitHub issue is better than an email, because the answer helps the next person with the same question.
Email is for everything else: you're using this somewhere interesting, you want to discuss the endpoints, or you're writing about the project. A sentence of context in your first message gets a faster reply than a request for a call.
